Isla Portichol North
Portichol Norte offers one of the best diving experiences in Jávea. It's an idyllic paradise thanks to the island’s location, its crystal-clear waters, and the many hiding spots that provide shelter to a wide variety of marine life.

To the north of Portichol Island, well sheltered from southern winds and very close to the island, there are several shallow reefs that reach 4 to 5 meters deep at their highest points and drop down to 20–22 meters. It’s a fascinating dive through underwater “mountains” and plains of gravel and posidonia, which can be explored in many different ways—no two dives are ever the same.
With a bit of luck, a gentle current may bring an abundance of marine life. This dive is especially known for the spectacular schools of barracudas that often appear — BARRACUDA POINT!
