Diving in the Interior - Madrid

Currently, the company is dedicated to these three areas of activity:

• Scuba Diving Instruction, Marine Biology, and Scientific Diving
• Environmental Education in the marine environment
• Research projects related to this environment

ZOEA Diving School is a "PADI 5-Star IDC Center," which means that students can complete the entire diving program from beginner to professional instructor level. Training is focused on an integrative and conservationist approach to natural resources, promoting a low-impact and socially committed diving style. Open water dives take place in the province of Murcia at ZOEA Águilas.

Scientific Diving has been taught at ZOEA since 2004. We have developed the PADI Distinctive Specialties of Underwater Archaeology and Scientific Diver. In collaboration with the Complutense University, we offer the University Diploma in Scientific Diving, a pioneering program in Spain that offers an official qualification from the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports. This marks the first time in Spain that university credits related to scuba diving have been awarded.

The marine biology courses—Cetaceans, Coral Reef, Sharks and Rays, and Flora and Fauna of the Mediterranean—are endorsed by the Official College of Biologists of Madrid. These courses are regularly taught in person at ZOEA. Students from all over the world also take them through the online education platform ZOEACAMPUS.

ZOEA disseminates and promotes knowledge of the marine environment through conferences and the development of Environmental Education products: books, digital materials, coloring books, submersible tablets, etc.

ZOEA's Projects Department carries out work for universities, research centers, institutions, public administrations, and companies. We conduct environmental impact studies, ecosystem descriptions, sample collection, bionomic studies, report writing, and environmental consulting in the marine environment.
