El Pecio del Dique del Oeste, in the bay of Palma, consists of several ships intentionally sunk in the 60-70’s, some more than 40 m long, forming a "shipwreck cemetery".

Entry from boat
These boats, lying at a depth of 20-28 m, include accessible interiors: cellar, bridge and machinery. The vessel structure acts as a new artificial habitat, colonized by sponges, nudibranchs and bryozoans. Visibility may be limited, so advanced experience is recommended. The proximity between the wrecks makes it possible to explore them all in a single dive. It is a paradise to study the ecological evolution of biotopes in submerged metallic structures and observe species that colonize them. Ideal wide planes with underwater architecture mixed with marine life.
