Embalse de Bolarque
Embalse de Bolarque
Diving in the Bolarque reservoir, at the mouth of the Guadiela River, will be a fantastic discovery and an unforgettable adventure. The landscapes of these regions are fabulous. We will visit the river ecosystem of the Tagus and Guadiela rivers. Mysterious forests and rocks along the riverbed, the wild sound of nature, the freshness of the river and the paradise of birds. We will dive in two locations. The maximum depths are 10 meters and conditions vary from place to place. The water temperature is 14 to 16 o C, we must go warm. Visibility is fabulous. We will see pike, perch and barbel. Also river crabs and a surprising underwater flora. The relief of the river is very rugged and for its mapping and characterization we will have to use effective procedures and methods and coordinated teamwork. The Workshop includes a preliminary preparatory session to learn about procedures for describing underwater variables through teamwork. We will bring enough equipment and infrastructure to carry out dives in two dive areas at the Bolarque reservoir.
