We celebrate Women's Diving Day with actions throughout the country
Last Saturday, July 20th, we celebrated Women's Diving Day, a date marked on the sustainable diving calendar to recognize and highlight the role of women in the underwater world.

Women's Dive Day is celebrated every year in July as a global initiative driven by diving organizations to raise awareness, empower, and connect women within the world of diving.
Since its first edition in 2015, this day has become an international movement that encourages female participation in all diving disciplines and marine conservation. Activities, meetings, courses, dives, talks, and events are held around the world to inspire new generations of women to literally dive into the ocean.
Beyond its symbolic significance, Women's Dive Day also represents a commitment to equality and sustainability, recognizing the active role women play in protecting the marine environment.
Several dive centers in the Green Diving project joined the initiative by organizing special activities during the weekend. These were some of the highlights:
Cabo la Nao (Jávea)
On Friday the 18th, Saturday the 19th, and Sunday the 20th, each woman who dived received a commemorative Women's Diving Day T-shirt as a gift.
ZOEA Madrid
Organized a pool-based diving session on Saturday morning, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., encouraging female participation in a comfortable and accessible environment.
Buceo Pedreña (Cantabria)
Offered a 10% discount on diving trips on Saturday the 20th and gave a commemorative T-shirt to all participating women.
Bubujas (Ceuta)
Hosted an Open Water group dive exclusively for women and organized a diving discovery program, introducing new female divers to the underwater experience.
ZOEA Mallorca
Celebrated the day with special discounts for women on its diving activities.
Divergente Buceo (Cantabria)
Offered a unique experience with a sunset snorkeling trip, an ideal way to connect with the sea in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
Diving Les Illes (Estartit)
Distributed commemorative T-shirts and organized special diving trips for women, highlighting their presence in the underwater world.
Nauga (A Coruña)
They organized an original underwater treasure hunt: 12 bottles with messages hidden during the dive, some with prizes and others with encouragement to keep diving.
The activity ended with a snack at the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña. Fun, prizes, and a great atmosphere guaranteed!
At Green Diving, we would like to thank all the participating centers for joining this celebration. Actions like these help promote equality, participation, and the visibility of women in the marine environment and sustainable diving.
Thank you for diving with awareness!
